Our Story
Laney started Maid Up Services with her best friend Tara as a way to make some extra money during hard economic times.
Laney was frustrated with how difficult it was to find a job in a competitive field after college and Tara wanted the freedom to spend more time with her daughter. Since they started the small business, both of the domestic divas have learned important life lessons. (Always have your rubber gloves.)
Tara has moved on and has a successful career in nursing and now has two beautiful children keeping her busy.
Laney stuck with the cleaning business and is still offering excellent service at low prices. She loves working for herself and the sense of pride in a hard days work and accomplishment she feels every time another client smiles and thanks her for her help. (You would think that scrubbing toilets was akin to saving kittens the way some people gush about it!)
Laney has a dream to soon have enough clients to support a small business office and to hire other helpful domestic divas as well as expand the business to include other services like yard work and odd jobs. (Who wouldn't want to hire a few handy men?)
